China, Birds and Water!

We have been getting creative and messy in the art room! If you haven't sent in an art shirt for your kiddo make sure you do.

In kindergarten, we will be learning about Claude Monet and studying his water lilies. We will be taking our shape knowledge and drawing some lilies. We will then talk about cool colors and finish our pictures.

In First grade we will be studying Henri Matisse and The Swan. We will take our knowledge of lines and recreate his etching. We will then talk about cool and warm colors and finish our swan picture.

In second grade we will continue with our symmetry understanding and make some vases. We will use the blue willow china patterns as inspiration and we will only being using blue to finish our vases.
