Welcome Back!
Hello Families! Welcome back to the third quarter. I can't thank you all enough for your generous gifts. I am working on thank you notes to give to your sweet kiddos. I hope everyone had a wonderful break and that you are all well rested. In kindergarten, we will be reviewing line by studying Pablo Picasso's line animals. We will then draw Picasso's Dove of Peace. We will also focus on primary colors using crayons and watercolor to finish. In first grade, we will be reviewing shapes. We are going to draw 3-D shapes and create a shape stack. In second grade, we will be revisiting Paul Klee and studying and reproducing his work Senecio. It will be a review of lines and color. I am excited to start this quarter strong and get your artists prepared for the art show!
