The Second Week

We are off to great start. We have been busy creating in the art room. And we have even started a few art projects. I am adding the art curriculum map to this post so you can have a preview of what we are working on each semester.

We have been reviewing and learning shapes in kindergarten. Next week in kindergarten, we are continuing to work on our shapes. And we will be painting! We will be looking at Matisse's Goldfish and painting a simple table and goldfish.

In first grade, we have been working on cave art. This next week we will be working on line review. We will be naming lines and creating some fun designs.

In second grade, we are finishing our Paul Klee Cat and Bird pictures. We will be continuing to review shapes and grow our drawing skills.
